Awareness

Inco Industria Colori’s first choice was to establish its main office in Italy. Its headquarters, research center and Italian production are proudly located in Pavullo nel Frignano, Modena.

Immerged by the green nature of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, in summer, and covered in white, throughout the winter.

A deep love binds us to our territory and to our roots, so much so that over the years this choice has never been questioned.
A love that unites all workers.

Moreover, the love for our land has always driven us to try to develop environmental sustainable products.

This is why We have been investing large sums in research, to develop ever more ecological products that— in their own small way —contribute to safeguarding our planet.

In the ceramics sector, many know about the olfactometric problems reported, in the last few years, between the adjacent population and productive businesses, which fear for possible adverse health effects.

In this regard, the bodies of institutional control have always reassured, —In particular way, Arpae, with its last few month statement, on the partial results of a study carried out on an area particularly subject to reports— in the face of scientific data, the population on air healthiness.

According to the environmental data exam from the analyzes carried out by Cnr, National Health Institute and Arpae, none of the substances detected reaches the threshold effect positioning themselves even below the concentration at which no adverse health effects are observed.

Inco—sensitive to the topic— has been working for many years now, to improve these olfactometric issues.
Despite the fact that the volumes and quantities of organic solvents found in digital ceramic inks are considerably lower than the volumes involved in the previous decades— with the use of screen printing pastes for rotocolor— this type of solvent stands out for this characteristic odor.

Inco looked a couple steps ahead, and tried to combine the development of products that have low olfactometric impact with those with Low- Atmospheric-Emission, because—despite current emissions into the atmosphere— they are not considered a problem for ceramic production businesses, for the time being —since they are very low and well below the limits imposed by law, we are already talking about full digital—.

Today, new digital materials already on the market —which enrich ceramic productions, embellishing them and making them unique— are used in ever greater quantities. Our intent was to prevent, not only the olfactometric discomfort, but also to prevent an organic-substance-emission increase, into the atmosphere, and to send a signal of great attention towards the population’s well-being and preservation of our planet.

In collaboration with Universities, Research Centers, important Ceramics groups and installers, we are working on these two topics to help contribute to global well-being.
